Miranda - Part II

I usually try to view the clothing outfits before a photo session so I can prepare my backgrounds to match the clients outfit.  Though I was only told the outfits colors for the session, I was very pleased how much her silver outfit matched with my silver background and how it brought out the red in Miranda's hair. You couldn't ask for a better client!  Miranda poses so well and she has such pretty complexion that I didn't touch up her skin on these favorites that I included for your viewing pleasure.

Vintage Damask Background

Got to use my new 9x12' vintage background on Gabby last night.  She wanted to sit in almost every small chair in my studio.  She's a character!  Besides using the flowers, we put Smarties in the white purse attempting to keep her immobile.  It lasted a little while! :)  I created a collage of my favorites from her two sessions and placed them on my website homepage for you viewing pleasure.  Here are my favorites from this session.  Enjoy!

Kim on Spring Break

While Kim was on Spring break last week we did a session in the studio with my  new pink paper background and some window shots.  Then we ventured outside in the rain and did a few shots with her vintage umbrella.  I kept telling Kim, "Try not to look cold."  She managed quite well under the circumstances.  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.  Enjoy!

Cutie Patootie Toddler

When we were about to do the window portraits of Gabby, she was terrified of the silver reflector that we wanted to use to bounce light onto her shadow side.  We had to scrap the reflector and ended up using white foam core board instead. Gabby wasn't in a good mood afterward until we started feeding her Smarties inside her flowers.  Here are some of my favorites from her session.  Enjoy!

Chanté's 8th Grade Portraits

Chanté wanted snow pics with her session and we barely were able to do that since the snow had almost melted on Monday.  Needless to say, she got somewhat soaked from the wet snow! :)  I've been wanting to use this parasol that I got last year and Chanté's outfit went so well with it and my brown background.  Here are my favorites from her session.  Enjoy!

Vacation Trip to Ohio

My husband and I spent a week with "Mommy Doll" and Marjorie in Ohio last week.  The highlights of the trip were playing Chicken Foot, eating pizza at Dick's Pizza in Portsmouth, and driving through the Amish country where I snapped a few shots.  Here are my favorites from the drive.  The red building is a tobacco barn which are very popular in this area of the country.  Enjoy!
