Ebony's HS Senior Session in the Studio
Ebony is a character! She's got such a fun personality and had me laughing to tears when she sent back her proofs with little comments on the images! She's a dog lover like me and it worked out that she got some poses with a cute little Yorkshire Terrier that kept coming in the studio to visit Ebony. I've included some of our favorites from her studio session, but we took lots of images and you can view them all here. Enjoy!

Marjorie's HS Senior Portrait in the Studio
We finished up Marjorie's last session in the studio and we were even able to photograph Marjorie with "real" snow, seriously!!! :) Marjorie's first outfit is with a crocheted shawl giving her an elegant touch to her portraits. I love the neutral colors that she chose for her outfits! Her sister Gabby came along and of course we couldn't miss the chance of getting those two together which is one of my favorites of her session! All of her portraits from this session can be viewed here. Marjorie, it was a lot of fun and my husband and I felt honored that you chose us to capture you at this special time in your life. Our cameras will be ready on your graduation day which is just around the corner!

Tamara's Cap and Gown Portraits
We finished up Tamara's high school senior portraits with her cap and gown along with her cap and gown outfit. Now all of her sessions can be viewed at Adobe Portfolio here. I thought Tamara had a pretty neat idea to have her cap on without her gown which is the second image below. Tamara, we thoroughly enjoyed capturing this special time in your life and look forward to seeing what God's plans are for you in the future! May God richly bless you as you keep your eyes on the prize!

Cameron's HS Senior Portraits
It makes me feel good to have a high school senior guy come in for his session not because he wants his portrait taken but to please his mom! That was the case with Cameron. The images below are their favorites and I have included for you viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Toto kills Easter bunny - Bunny lovers beware!!!
First, I apologize to all those bunny lovers that I may have offended. I used to be a bunny lover until some cute bunnies destroyed our pretty rose bush and a couple young trees!
Toto is not as fast as his brother Charlie, but he is a persistent little guy and is not afraid like Charlie. The image of Toto below was taken several weeks ago but I thought it fitting to share this Easter season along with some history of the Easter Bunny.
The origin of the Easter Bunny has roots that go back to pre-Christian, Anglo-Saxon history. The holiday was originally a pagan celebration that worshiped the goddess Eastre. She was the goddess of fertility and springtime and her earthly symbol was the rabbit. Thus the pre-Christian Anglo-Saxons worshiped the rabbit believing it to be Eastre's earthly incarnation.
When the Anglo-Saxons were converted to Christianity, the pagan holiday, which occurred around the same time as the Christian memorial of Jesus' resurrection from the dead, was combined with the Christian celebration and given the name Easter.
Hope you enjoyed that bit of history and would like to invite you to visit Faith Tabernacle, the friendliest church in Junction City, Kansas!
