Ruth was adorned with balloons and an Ethiopian traditional dress during her senior portrait session in the studio. She let me pick my favorites for this session so I have included them below. We will finish up her portrait session in March when her cap and gown is in. I can hardly wait to see how they turn out! :)

Ruth 2019 ~ Urban and Nature Session
For her HS senior portraits, Ruth wanted an urban session and also portraits with nature during the golden hour. We headed to big town Junction City for her urban session and finished up on top of J-Hill during the "golden hour." For a fun shot, we stopped at the mural on the building at 6th and Washington while Ruth placed herself into the railroad scene in the mural. Her mom met us on J-Hill bringing Ruth's pet dog, Cosmo. Cosmo took the show with his cute little self and we were fortunate to capture Cosmo kissing Ruth during one of her poses. We so enjoyed this session with Ruth and Cosmo and am happy to share her favorites included below.

Love amongst the sunflowers...
This sunflower-themed wedding was a pleasure to photograph! I kept telling this delightful couple that I was so happy for them and I truly meant it! They are a perfect match and so much fun to be around! I wish them many happy and healthy years together!
It was such a beautiful wedding and reception with these bright and cheery sunflower decorations; hopefully these captures will convey just how beautiful the day was. Enjoy!

Sunflower engagement portraits and the Flintstone footmobile!
We were privileged to photograph such a sweet and beautiful couple who used sunflowers as their wedding theme. For their outside portraits we drove to Clearwater, Kansas, to the Klausmeyer Farm where they were kind to allow folks to take portraits in the sunflowers (which they planted early). Afterwards we were getting on the Kansas turnpike when someone saw a Flintstone replica sitting near the toll booth. We were able to pull over and take portraits in the footmobile. I was like, Yabba dabba doo!!! We could hardly believe it!
My favorites from their engagement sessions are shown below for your viewing pleasure!

5 and Fantastic!
When I asked Cooper's dad how many images does he want with his son, he said, "One." I'm so glad he let me take a few more as I love the connection that shows through these images. Cooper was getting bored so he grabbed a pair of dumbbells that were nearby and wanted to take pictures with them. I wanted to keep him happy, so we took a few shots of him holding the dumbbells wearing his Superman hat. I didn't realize until later when processing the images that there were number 5s on the end of the dumbbells. How cool is that? Cooper turning 5 and a prop with 5s on them! The following images are the ones from the client order. Enjoy!
