If I had known grandchildren would be so much fun...

One of my favorite quotes is, "If I had known grandchildren would be so much fun, I would have had them first!"  How true and fitting as it applies to my dear grandchildren shown below.  This day we went to a park on the Hillsborough River in Tampa to take a few portraits of TreVaughn, Avionnia, and Trinitee.  Their sweet personalities show through these images that we captured during our visit to the park.  Enjoy!

Impromptu Maternity Session

This maternity session was not in the works.  My firstborn granddaughter Victoria was due to give birth on the previous Monday and I was scheduled to arrive in Florida the following Sunday.  However, baby Jace was in no rush to leave the womb. We had a little bit of time before Victoria was scheduled to go back to the hospital to get induced, then it dawned on us... hey, why not do maternity portraits?  We didn't go far.  Just a few steps outside and around the corner near her mom's home.  Here are our favorites from this impromptu maternity session in Tampa, Florida.  Enjoy!

Twins in a basket

Charlie and Toto did really good for their first studio session!  The key was to have everything in place and add the puppies at the last instant.  My good assistant had treats ready to get their attention.  Remember Toto is the smaller puppy though it is hard to tell who is smaller in these images.  Charlie has a black spot on the right side of his chest and only one ear that stands up and Toto has the tan eyebrows.  I think when they get older, both of their ears will stand up.  They only will be cute little puppies once so I want to get plenty of babies portraits while they are in this stage.  Enjoy!

Kayaking at the Farm

Since swimming is one of my favorite pastimes, it was especially fun to photograph Weston with his kayak this morning at the Farm.  Weston made for some good action shots while he navigated the waters at the larger pond on the property.  We also used some timber that was lying around as props for a few poses. Weston's favorites of his kayak and timber poses are included below for you to enjoy!
