Bourland Family

The Bourland family was the last customer that I was able to photograph with the fall colors. We did a few shots inside but the outside ones are my favorites. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure.

Missouri Landscape

While returning from Shelbyville, Indiana, a friend and I stopped in Wentzville and Wright City, Missouri, to take some pics. The horse pic was taken through the car windshield. It was funny when the horses came so close to the car we had to wait for them to move. :)

Maria and family

Maria is probably my favorite co-worker at Fort Riley. :) She had been so busy with Fort Riley's Fall Festival that when it was over she was able to find time for portraits of her family. She talked a lot about her mom at work and I was eager to meet her. Even though her mom couldn't speak English, I felt we communicated well during her session.

It was hard to choose my favorites from this session as there were so many. Here are a few that showed the love and fun that this family has. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of photographing Gabriela and her parents outside near our pond on Wednesday. These are a few of my favorites. In this studio shot of Gabriela, she looks like her Aunt Janelle.

Last wildflowers of the season

I really enjoyed taking pictures of the wildflowers in my yard this year. I learned a lot about wildflowers just doing so. It will be sad to see them go, but sure won't miss the chigger bites! These are a few of my favorites from last Saturday.

Sleepy Papi

Meet Sleepy Papi, Angela's (my daughter) new boyfriend. I almost wanted to keep him. He is so gentle and loveable. I got to pose him on my new chair prop that I bought in Kansas City at a church yard sale. He didn't like being on the chair all alone. We were making all kind of maneuvers to get him posed. We had a blast!

Gabriela at 4 days old

Gabriela is my youngest newborn that I have photographed in my studio, at 4 days old. She looks so grown up in these portraits. She was such a good baby, that we were able to do several poses. It was hard to narrow down my favorites. :)
