Fussy is cute!

It's always nice to capture every family member with a pleasant expression but it's sometimes more rewarding to capture cute fussy expressions!  Such is true with some expressions that 1-month-old Ellie gave us during her family's portrait session.  Her sister Addy felt right at home as you can see by the portraits that we captured of this beautiful family.  Thanks Kristen and Tristan for choosing Capturing The Moment Photography for your portrait needs!  The family's favorites from the session are included below.  Enjoy!

Military family of four portraits

It was an honor to photograph this beautiful family before the dad left for deployment.  Because we were able to use our new kid's sofa from www.burlingtoncoatfactory.com, the little ones were eager to try it out.  They look simply adorable and so grown up posed on the sofa!  We planned ahead of time to use the camouflage background and the family chose outfits with a perfect fit!  I have included their favorite poses from the session for your viewing pleasure....

A Spring portrait of a beautiful family

I was delighted to photograph this beautiful family of four!  I am fond of bright colors and just love the Spring colors they wore for their family portrait.  I don't care for a lot of fake backgrounds that mimic an outdoor scene but like this muslin that has the appearance of being outside against the sky.  This was a mini session but I was able to get two nice poses -- one of the family and of this beautiful couple that look so much in love!  May God bless their sweet gizzards!!!

Adorable Family of Four

Last night's session from one of my "regulars" was to produce a nice collage for their living room with their family portrait in the middle and to order some portraits for an iPhone photo hardcase.  The background was gray that was made pinkish using a flash with a pinkish gel on it, thus producing a pinkish background to match their outfits.  The small sofa is normally maroon, but we changed that color also to match their outfits.  As you can see, Gabby really enjoyed taking her portraits on the couch.  Alyssia kept turning around while seated on the couch, so we ended up turning the couch around to get her facing the camera!  Some of the neatest props are the ones that you don't anticipate! :)  I've attached my favorites from their session for your viewing pleasure.  Be looking for their portrait collage on Capturing The Moment Photography's website once we get that finalized.
