My, how fun and easy it was to capture Andrew's cute expressions for his 18-month portraits. His sister didn't plan to take any portraits but after we got started she wanted to get in on the act! We quickly moved from an orange chair against our brown background to match Andrew's olive colored suit and red hair, to some wooden steps, and then to a little preacher pose with the bible and vintage suitcase. While Andrew changed into his casual outfit, we switched to our popular white background and set up some teddy bears on a miniature red sofa, started throwing a ball and brought in our wooden horse rocker to keep Andrew active and happy! We then grabbed the rocking horse and red wagon and headed outside to capture some quick shots of our cute little man before he got too cold! His mom's favorites from his session are included below and I know you will enjoy viewing his adorable 18-month old portraits and a couple of his big sister!

Ithamar's Senior High Portraits ~ Part I
On the form that I have the high school seniors fill out, we ask them their favorites colors of which Ithamar said blue and orange were his favorite colors. The blue and orange colors were in his first outfit that he wore for his session. We used our flexible blue background first and made sure it was lit well so the blue would be bright to match his blue shirt. To get an orange background, we used our red background and tweaked the color to make it orange. During Ithamar's session, I got him to laugh and took a couple quick portraits of him laughing to show his true personality, as everyone that knows Ithamar, knows he likes to have a good time!!! Ithamar is scheduled for an outdoor session soon so be on the lookout for favorites from his next session.

A family of six in camouflage
So I get this email from this client that wants camo or hunter theme images. Lo and behold I have this background that I ordered years ago that I thought I would hardly use and it has perfect camouflage colors in it. We put off the session for a few days hoping for warmer weather but it was still so cold outside that the children tried their best not to look cold!!! They asked if they could bring their pet German Shepherd along and we included him for the outdoor images. The outdoor session is at the edge of our property along an old stone fence that must be at least a hundred years old! My favorite is the indoor image of this beautiful family of six and I have included it along with two other outdoor images for you to enjoy!

Cousins Tamara and Jeffery Graduate
Cousins Tamara and Jeffery doubled up on their sessions so they could get portraits together. They are both graduating from the same 8th grade class at Apostolic Academy this May. It has been my pleasure to watch both of these kids grow up and an honor to photograph them during this special time in their lives. I have attached my favorites from their session for your viewing pleasure.... :)
