I had never been to a courthouse wedding and wasn't expecting much. Only 10 of us could be in the courtroom including the judge. Though it was quick ceremony it was the most emotional one that I've ever photographed. I think some of that has to do with being related to the groom.😆 My grandson Fabian and his beautiful bride Andrea were so happy they both wept with joy during the ceremony that even the judge seemed to enjoy herself! I've included some of their favorites from their wedding on Monday, June 1, 2020, and a few before and after the wedding. We will share more from after the wedding in a separate post. Leigh and Geoff's Wedding Reception
Leigh and Geoff's wedding reception was held at the Courtyard by Marriott. Before their grand entrance, we had time for a few portraits at a nearby pier (see bottom of their wedding blogpost). The couple love the outdoors and we were glad time and weather allowed us to capture them outside before the reception. Thank you Leigh and Geoff for choosing Capturing The Moment Photography to document your wedding day! It turned out so beautiful and such a happy and enjoyable occasion! Here are some favorites that highlight their wedding reception...

Ebony's beautiful autumn portraits!
It started out slightly overcast, perfect for outdoor portraiture in late afternoon! Ebony's three outfits went perfect with the beautiful autumn colors! After taking a couple portraits on at old wooden bridge, Ebony noticed a stream that she wanted to cross over. I like that creative side of Ebony! Those of her walking on the rocks in the stream turned out to be her favorites. Then the sun started to come out and made the pretty tree leaves sparkle with color! My favorites from her autumn session are show below. To view all her images from her last two sessions, click here.

Tamara's '17 HS Senior Portraits at an outdoor courtyard
Tamara wanted her first senior portrait session at an outdoor courtyard at a Manhattan hospital, and what a great idea! There were still flowers in bloom and a waterfall and bridge as some gorgeous backgrounds. I asked Tamara what her favorite words were on the stone wall and she said "Compassion" and "Faith" so you will see her posed against the wall next to those words. While exiting the facility an onlooker commented to her "You're Beautiful!!!" Yes, she was beautiful and she has such a pretty smile! I thought we were done until I saw a cement column that complimented her coral color outfit. Since Tamara liked practically all of her poses, I have included my favorites below and all of her favorites can be viewed here. Enjoy!
