Dictionary.com's definition of biker is "a person who rides a bicycle, motorcycle, or motorbike, especially in competition or as a hobby." That's Mark! He loves to ride his bicycle in the country! Some surprise visitors showed up which added some variety to the session and you can see them along with his bicycle portraits below! Enjoy!

A laughing horse :)
Ace was not actually laughing, but it sure looks like he was! I was seated on the ground prepared to take photos of Ace so I could get the pretty blue sky in the background when he started making funny faces at me. He is such a sweetheart! Hopefully you get a good laugh from these images!

Weston's Graduation Portraits at the Boyer Hacienda
If you recall, I did Weston at his home during a snowstorm in late February. I wasn't able to get any portraits of Weston with his dog and their tractor that snowy day. However; it was a perfect day on May 6 when we were able to photograph Weston at the Boyer Hacienda. Even though we had already taken portraits of Weston with a horse in the snow, I encouraged him to do more horse portraits so we used their other horse. I'm so glad we did as his portrait below with him riding Ellie was his favorite portrait from his sessions. His favorites from this session are included for you to enjoy!

Farm Boy and a Horse in a Winter Snow Storm
This client wanted to show Weston in his element--horse, barn, hay, etc. It was quite a photo adventure during this winter storm, but it was all worth it by the shots we got in the snow. It was actually snowing the whole time and I had to cover my camera so it wouldn't get wet from the snow. We put together a collage showing Weston and his horse galloping in the snow and I have included it along with my favorites for you to enjoy!

Stardust joins The Smith Ranch
Stardust joined our family on January 19. She is an 18 year old Palomino. Sad to say we sold Emily and Dakota. :( I so miss Dakota and I will sorely miss watching him and Ace play.
Ozark (our miniature donkey) welcomed Stardust by braying and chasing after her. It was totally hilarious watching them!!! I've included photos of Stardust's arrival and the interaction of her with the rest of the Smith Ranch family. Stardust is tanner/darker in color than Ace.
Enjoy!
