HoneyBun and her boyfriends

I would tease HoneyBun's owner after we babysitted HoneyBun and tell her that Toto was HoneyBun's boyfriend as Toto seemed particularly fond of her.  But recently when we babysitted HoneyBun, Toto didn't even want to sit in the same chair with HoneyBun so looks like Charlie is now her boyfriend.  These images show HoneyBun as she poses so cute on her chair prop, and a couple images of Toto looking at her (2nd image) and Charlie sitting with her in the chair (last image).  Enjoy!

A family of six and a smiling bulldog puppy!

This is our second family session with this client who this time brought Titus, the newest member of their family, a 9-month-old American bulldog puppy.  When I first saw Titus, I couldn't believe those eyes!  They looked just like human eyes!  Well, we captured some family portraits with the client ordering a large wall portrait and some Christmas cards that we were able to order and get back in two business days! The prints they ordered are shown below.  Thanks Trish for letting us capture your lovely family again!  Wishing you the best as the Army sends you off to your new duty station!

Meet Charlie and Toto Smith

Meet Charlie and Toto, our new 8-week old Rat Terrier puppies.  Toto is smaller than his brother and has tan eyebrows and tan on his cheek.  The first image below is of Toto.  We picked them up yesterday in Marysville, Kansas, and life has been hectic trying to potty train these two brothers.

Rat Terriers are known to be digging escape artists who are true terriers: fiesty, funny, energetic, lively, vermin-chasing, and incapable of being boring.  President Theodore Roosevelt is said to have given the breed its name after his own terrier had eradicated the rat infestation at the White House; clearly, the Rat Terrier excels as a public servant--as long as its in its own best interest.

Their first portraits are of them in their first sleeping arrangement.  Even though Toto is smaller, he is the one that escaped out of his sleeping basket last night.

Stardust joins The Smith Ranch

Stardust joined our family on January 19.  She is an 18 year old Palomino. Sad to say we sold Emily and Dakota. :(  I so miss Dakota and I will sorely miss watching him and Ace play.  

Ozark (our miniature donkey) welcomed Stardust by braying and chasing after her.  It was totally hilarious watching them!!!  I've included photos of Stardust's arrival and the interaction of her with the rest of the Smith Ranch family.   Stardust is tanner/darker in color than Ace.
