Family Banquet Portraits ~ My Top Ten Favorites
Capturing The Moment Photography volunteered again this year to do portraits for Faith Tabernacle's family banquet. The proceeds went to Apostolic Academy, Faith Tabernacle's christian school. It was hard to narrow down my favorites but I have included my favorite top ten. Enjoy! ;)

Sunset on the Prairie
I just happened to look outside and noticed the beautiful colors in the clouds and quickly grabbed my camera and tripod to get a few shots before this beautiful sunset disappeared. I have included the few shots that God provided for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!!!

Sally & Jane join The Smith Ranch
Sally and Jane are two jennies (female donkeys) that recently joined The Smith Ranch. Sally is the white spotted donkey and Jane is the furry brown/gray donkey. Their family-to-be were very excited to receive them. Their welcome was very lively and made for a fun photo session. I have included my favorites for your viewing pleasure. Sean's Christmas Portraits
Sean brought his parents along to do some family portraits along with some of his favorite toys. He was quite an active little fellow so we moved along at a face pace to get a variety of poses. I don't usually use muslin backgrounds as I don't like that wrinkled background look, but we were able to shoot at a wider aperture to blur the background. I really like how their dressy outfits went with this black background. We used Sean's car and ball as props in the other backgrounds to match his other outfit. I have included my favorites from their session for you to enjoy! :)

Gabby & Alyssia's Christmas Portraits
Gabby & Alyssia's outfits went perfect with my new Modern Vintage Background. To keep Alyssia's attention off of the camera we had a couple prepared setups. We started off with two small red booklets that lasted a short time. Then a setup that included two gift bags for them to discover the contents, then the last setup was sort of like a tea party except we used cold tea and Christmas mugs. We will be designing a Christmas greeting card with the portraits from this session. My favorites from the session are listed below for your viewing pleasure....
Cameron's 8th Grade Graduate Portraits
Cameron loves the outdoors and it sure showed in the portraits we took last weekend. I couldn't believe he was able to climb up on a limb that was much taller than him. I took the pic as fast as I could as it made me (and his mom) nervous seeing him out on the limb! Made for a pretty cool shot though! I encourage my customers to mainly wear solid colors. It makes for a better portrait as the clothing doesn't overpower the person in the portrait and that is quite evident in the last ones displayed here in his white shirt. I just love this last shot of him below. I have included my favorites of his session. Enjoy! :)
