Friends playing "Hide and Seek"

Maryland is 5 months here and has developed into such a sweet little girl! She was such an easy subject during this session... getting into the sofa at her leisure and giving me the cutest poses.  Charlie, well, he's going to stay on the sofa up until I go to the camera then jumps off!  I was fortunate to get some of him during this session by himself and with his girlfriend, Maryland!  One of my favorites is the last pose where it looks like they are playing, Hide & Seek!  Enjoy!

Leigh and Geoff's Wedding Reception

Leigh and Geoff's wedding reception was held at the Courtyard by Marriott.  Before their grand entrance, we had time for a few portraits at a nearby pier (see bottom of their wedding blogpost). Leigh and Geoff's Wedding

So simple yet so beautiful! This wedding was absolutely divine!  I've never seen the sanctuary so full at a wedding, and never have I seen small children used in a wedding that played their part to perfection!  God truly blessed this union on February 9, 2019! Fussy is cute!

It's always nice to capture every family member with a pleasant expression but it's sometimes more rewarding to capture cute fussy expressions!  Such is true with some expressions that 1-month-old Ellie gave us during her family's portrait session.  Her sister Addy felt right at home as you can see by the portraits that we captured of this beautiful family.  Thanks Kristen and Tristan for choosing Capturing The Moment Photography for your portrait needs!  The family's favorites from the session are included below.  Enjoy!

Playing tug-of-war at 3-months-old

Rat Terriers are such crazy dogs! Only they would think of playing upside-down tug-of-war!  I had to keep throwing the rope behind the studio softbox so that they would be properly lit.  The two images below are my favorites from this tug-of-war game!

Maryland is growing so fast I don't want to miss capturing the cutest stage of her life.  I was delighted that she climbed up on the miniature sofa by herself without me having to do it!  This little girl would rather do things on her own than someone making her do it!  Hmm, typical woman! I had to lock Charlie out of the studio so he wouldn't get in the way of this image with the date prop.  He didn't like that at all!
