Ruth 2019 ~ Urban and Nature Session

For her HS senior portraits, Ruth wanted an urban session and also portraits with nature during the golden hour.  We headed to big town Junction City for her urban session and finished up on top of J-Hill during the "golden hour."  For a fun shot, we stopped at the mural on the building at 6th and Washington while Ruth placed herself into the railroad scene in the mural.  Her mom met us on J-Hill bringing Ruth's pet dog, Cosmo.  Cosmo took the show with his cute little self and we were fortunate to capture Cosmo kissing Ruth during one of her poses.  We so enjoyed this session with Ruth and Cosmo and am happy to share her favorites included below.

Jazzlynn and a spoiled lady

Jazzlynn brought her pet dog to her HS senior studio portrait session.  When I asked her dog's name, I was told "Lady," and also "Spoiled!"  "Spoiled Lady" enjoyed her visit to Capturing The Moment Photography but she wasn't too interested in getting her portraits taken as you can tell by her expression in the images below. We couldn't get her to smile though she still looks adorable!  I wanted to try a different type of look during this session which is the first portrait below of Jazzlynn in black and white, and also one of her favorites along with the rest of her favorites shown below.  Jazzlynn, we so enjoyed our visits after both sessions.  Thanks for the privilege to capture you during this special time in your life!  Love you and your mom!

Maternity session with a Polynesian flair

Our client wore Polynesian attire to their family maternity session in the country.  Even their dog Rocky wore a Polynesian bandana that matched their outfits!  Thank the Lord it turned out to be such a beautiful day for the session for such a beautiful family!  We were able to use three different background settings for their poses, and all of their poses from their session are included for your viewing pleasure.  Enjoy!

Country Maternity Session with a Cute "Little" Puppy!

Angie and Fabio brought along their cute puppy Luke with them for their outdoor family/maternity session.  Angie also brought along some blue booties as a prop to use in a few of her poses.  Can you believe she was only about a week away from delivery during her portrait session?  My favorite pose is the last one of them walking down the trail with them arm in arm looking at each other as it shows the love they have for each other.  Thanks Angie and Fabio for the privilege of capturing these special moments for you!  God bless you and your newborn baby boy, Fabio Jr!
