Ruth 2019 ~ Urban and Nature Session

For her HS senior portraits, Ruth wanted an urban session and also portraits with nature during the golden hour.  We headed to big town Junction City for her urban session and finished up on top of J-Hill during the "golden hour."  For a fun shot, we stopped at the mural on the building at 6th and Washington while Ruth placed herself into the railroad scene in the mural.  Her mom met us on J-Hill bringing Ruth's pet dog, Cosmo.  Cosmo took the show with his cute little self and we were fortunate to capture Cosmo kissing Ruth during one of her poses.  We so enjoyed this session with Ruth and Cosmo and am happy to share her favorites included below.

Cap and gown and portraits in the woods....

Darlyene's cap and gown outfit went so nicely with our brown canvas background.  I would say this brown background is probably my favorite background to use!  It gives a graduation portrait a classy look!  Because we didn't get to do many outside portraits from the last session, we finished up this session down in the woods on our property.  Darlyene, we enjoyed both of our sessions together!  We're proud of you and wishing God's best for you!  Images from both sessions can be viewed here.  Enjoy!

Destiny's cap and gown portraits

One of the benefits of being a photographer is I get to better know the seniors that are graduating and Destiny is a senior I felt privileged to get to know.  She is a lady of character and I admire her walk with God.  I love her personality and was glad she went along with the crazy faces with her cap and gown as they turned out to be one of her favorites along with the others I have included below.  They have also been added to her favorites from her previous session here. Ebony's HS Senior Session in the Studio

Ebony is a character!  She's got such a fun personality and had me laughing to tears when she sent back her proofs with little comments on the images!  She's a dog lover like me and it worked out that she got some poses with a cute little Yorkshire Terrier that kept coming in the studio to visit Ebony.  I've included some of our favorites from her studio session, but we took lots of images and you can view them all here.  Enjoy!

Tamara's autumn portraits with blue herons and pelicans at Milford Lake

I just love this outfit Tamara wore for her autumn session and we were pleasantly surprised to discover the colors at Milford Lake complimented her outfit perfectly!  After seeing a blue heron sitting near a bench we grabbed a shot before he flew away and merged that image with one of Tamara in it.  We didn't have to do that for the one of her on the beach with the four pelicans in the background.  I couldn't believe how many blue herons there were at the Milford beach and have included a shot of them below.  My favorites from this session are included below and all from this session and her previous one can be viewed here.  Enjoy!
